Our route starts from Rododafni, the seat of Sympolitia Municipality. Our destination is Agios Ioannis Theologos Monastery at Verino Village...

At 200 km, we enter Ag. Konstantinos village. The road is pretty much ok and remains like that until we reach Krini. At 900 m we see a label. If we keep straight we end up to Dimitropoulo Village and if we turn righ, to Lakka, Grigori and Verino. We turn right, enjoying the traditional Greek landscape. At 5.4 km we arrive at Mertidi Village and at 8.1 km at Lakka. At 8.6 km, the label indicates thet: If we turn right we head to Magira Village. If we keep on straight we go to Grigori, Verino and Greke Villages. We keep on straight and at 9.2 km we arrive at Touba Village. At 10.3 km we enter Grigori Village, where Meganitis River flows on our left. At 14 km we finally enter Verino and after 400 m at the place of Agios Ionannis Theologos adordship. The road here splits in two:

  • If we turn right, we reach the impressive and awesome Monastery.
  • If we keep on straight the road goes to Krini and Greka, mountainous villages with lots of grapevines.

In any case, hunting is strictly forbidden.

At 16 km a label indicates that if we turn right the road leads to Mirovrisi and ends up at Selianitika and its bresh beaches. If we keep on straight we head to Greka and Krini. At 20,7 km, on our left, there is Greka village. Keeping on straight we reach Krini at 23.2 km, although the label you will meet indicates Krini’s former name, which used to be Arahova. From Krini, there are some really interesting and beautiful routes leading us to Mikroni and Rakita, to Leontio, Lapanagou and Makellaria Monastery, and finally to Municipalities of Kalavrita and Farres. These are routes combining the two parts of Achaia through a green mountain rich in flora. As we previously mentioned, the roads are quite hard to cross.
