Riding

Located just 10 minutes from Patras into forested area of 12 acres ,the Patras Riding Club (Riding School),offers well-equipped facilities for beginners and advanced riders but also to the people who are enjoying good food and they are able to enjoy several of traditional meals into the Club Restaurant, surrounded by dozens of horses.

 
Sailing

Experienced sailors characterize the Gulf of Patras as one of the most ideal areas for sailing trips due to the existence of wind streams but without similar strong waves.
Ten local annual races has been organised by the Patras Sailing Club and in early August in Patras and the Ionian is taking place the Sailing Week with international attendancies.

 
Canoe - Kayak - Rafting

More and more sportsmen, fans of alternative sports, are thrown into the battle with river currents, whether the sport is called kayaking or rafting. The truth is that visitors of the region combine "sports with pleasure" and beyond the sport they have the opportunity to become acquainted with rare natural beauty, discover the rare secrets of rivers Ladonas and Erymanthos.

 
Paragliding

Whether amateur or a gliding expert, the skies of Achaia are offered for gliders. If you are interested in an acquaintance with the county from a high altitude, you have plenty of paraglide positions to choose. Paragliding Club of Patras was founded in 1990 and today has over 100 members. It is a member of the Greek Air Sports Federation and is overviewed by the General Secretariat of Sports (tel. 2610 621 494). In collaboration with the Club, we have identified the following gliding sites.

 
Vouraikos Canyon
