krathis_river.gifKrathis river waters the famous Kloukinochoria (Zarouchla, Agia Varbara, Solo, Peristeri, Mesorougi and Vounaki). Is the main water supply of Styx waters and Lake Tsivlou and ends at the Corinthian gulf .Krathis River cooled off the famous Varvarites craftsmen who were constructing magnificent defensive towers. The underground aquifer surprised Pausanias, who says that two rivers flow, one above the ground and one underground.
